It
was just another Thursday night and I decided to head over to a nearby video game store. I flicked through a couple of games on the shelves, checked out some movies and just as I was about to leave there she was. The Queen of adrenaline and insanely sick jumps, Mirrors Edge protagonist Faith. I rented the game back in 2008 but I never bought it because the opportunity never really presented itself. After 5 minutes of reminiscing I was back at home and staring at the loading screen of the Mirrors Edge. Immediately I was overcoming obstacles, climbing buildings and hearing the sound of crunching bones as I timed that take-off just a little too quickly.
Right there and then I realised that this is one hell game that should not be missed. There are so many awesome used games out that are just waiting for you to pick them up so you should really take that into consideration next time when you think about purchasing a game for your collection.

What is up people ?
As all of you probably know Rockstar were off to a really bad start with their Grand Theft Auto online feature. Having played over 40 hours of online and causing mayhem, I can honestly say that the game runs better than ever and I don think that we will encounter any problems in the near future. (My crew is called EasyWriters so feel free to join.)
I'm guessing that the guys over at Rockstar felt really bad about the whole server crashing incident. As a result many players lost all of their progress and had no other option but to start their online careers all over again. Many people were majorly disappointed and those who deposited all of their dollars were left broke and begging for dollars.
Never fear people Rockstar with $500k is here. Yes people Rockstar have announced that each player who has logged in to GTA online during the month of October and has updated to the 1.04 patch are entitled to the 500k. The patch that Rockstar put up is also going to fix the error when your purchased cars would suddenly disappear.

What is up people ?
For the past couple of weeks I have been majorly busy as some of you may already know. My school work is beginning to pile up and there is a lot of pressure being put on me as it is my final year in high school and then I'm off to college. I am going to have a load sweet app reviews coming up in the next few days and I'm hesitant whether I should buy Beyond: Two Souls. The game has been getting some pretty mixed reviews but if you people want to see the review up on wordloops, let me know on twitter @Jacob0527 and its yours. I will also be starting an everyday news feature hopefully very soon. It will basically a small article on what's going on in the gaming and tech world so keep your eyes out for that one. Today's app review is a classic its called Jelly car three. I think that the Jelly car franchise is one that deserves way more recognition and is overlooked by too many people. For those of you who don't know what the jelly car franchise is about its basically a small car made of jelly that has to overcome various obstacles to reach its goal. Jelly car has been one of the first games that I downloaded to all of my ios devices and I was hooked ever since.
Jelly car three has all of the components of an unbelievable and enjoyable game. The game is smooth and stable. I never experienced any lag while I was playing the game and sometimes I liked to push the game to its limits. The game runs excellent on every IOS/Android device so you shouldn't worry about it closing down on you.
The music that runs in the background creates a very calm and peaceful atmosphere. Sound in general is absolutely superb and I'm absolutely sure that most of the sounds made in the game are all by the same person which I thought was pretty cool.
Do not worry people if you think that the game will end in a very short ten minutes. The game is content rich and will surely keep you going for a very long time. Each level is different and you will find some of them challenging, but that's what makes a good game right ? The game is constantly being updated and it offers a very good and effective achievement system, which will just drive your hunger for those three gold stars.
Along the way you will have certain items which will help you in reaching your goal such as a balloon and some tar which will enable you to stick to the walls as you make your way through a very challenging level.
The game is just amazing all around and even though I think it comes in the $2.00 range it is worth every penny. I highly recommend this game to everyone and anyone who is looking for a game that is different and fun in almost every way. I give this game a big fat 10/10 for bringing back awesome memories and reminding us that not all games have to be violent in order for us to have a good time.

What is up people ?
Over the past couple of days we have seen a huge amount of complaints in relation to GTA online. Now that its working all of that is about to change. Yesterday I got to play for almost three hours without the server kicking me out and let me tell you this, It is one hell of a game. The game starts straight away with you engaging in a race with Lamar and you can bet a certain amount on it. After you have completed that race you immediately get thrown into the big bad world.
I have some tips for all of you gamers out there who will be joining the GTA community or already have but are struggling to make a couple of dollars. Tip number one. Deposit your money in a bank. That was the first mistake that I made when I joined the game. I robbed a convenient store and got around $2000 I was on my way to LS customs but my road was blocked off by some sort of a gang. (I don't even know what the hell that was it was so disorganised. One guy was sitting in the car, another jumping on the top of my car and the third one had a shotgun to my face.) But in the end they took all of my money and I was left for dead near a really crappy petrol station.
Tip number two. Find a sweet ride. The reason why you need to have an awesome car is simple. To get you from A to B in style. Rockstar were very generous when it comes to choosing your first car because they give you a lot of free stuff in LS customs. Insure your car and fit a tracker so you know where your car is at all times. Its free the first time the second it will cost you. When you park next to Ammu-Nation to do your weekly shopping I'm sure you don't want to hear your tyres screeching into the distance and your cars engine descending gradually as your enemy gets away with your wheels. No ? Well than hold down select and you get a pop up menu, go down to vehicle ownership and chose the option no one. That way the enemy will have no other option to blow your car up or hopefully not.
Tip number three. Use a headset if possible when robbing a convenient store. The process of intimidation goes way quicker than just pointing your gun at the target and its funny when the clerk cries and tells you to stop shouting at him.
Tip number four. Buy a garage you will need to store your collection of cars somewhere. So chose wisely. The only downside is the cheapest garage is $25'000 so that means you better earn some big bucks quickly otherwise you won't survive on the streets of San Andreas.
There you have it people some tips from your buddy Jacob. GTA online gets a big yes from me as it gives players a completely different experience to the main story and it also gives players a brand new set of missions to enjoy. So what are you waiting for go out there and play some GTA online. I'm on xbox so join the crew and we can show the world what wordloops is all about. The crew is called EASYWRITERS. What is up people ?
Yesterday Rockstar released its online feature for GTA V, but things didn't go as planned. Many people were majorly disappointed that they weren't one of the lucky few who got to experience those new online features, unfortunately I was not one of them. When I first booted up my game I had an option to go into the story mode or online by simply pressing A and that is where my journey was brought to an end. I simply got a message saying that the server was unable to connect and I should check my internet or something like that. I sort of expected that but I didn't want to believe it. I tried again today and I made some progress, I got as far as the character creation screen, so I'm going to take you through that right about now.
Once the game loads after a million tries, you get to a pretty cool character creation screen. Rockstar used a unique feature which doesn't allow you to create your own face to perfection but generates your character based on the grandparents and parents you decided to choose. Which I thought was sort of cool. After my character looked half decent I decided to set him free in the city of Los Santos.
After you confirm your character you will be shown a pretty nice intro that introduces you to the various elements of the online world. You will then see the character that you have chosen sitting on a plane on the way to Los Santos and don't worry you're not alone you will see a friendly face waiting to collect you. So there you have it people a very short but detailed account of what you will experience in the first 3 minutes of GTA online. (Very exciting stuff huh ?)
Hopefully the servers will be better by the weekend and we will be able to enjoy a bit of GTA online. I will be setting up a crew online for GTA V so we can show the world who is in charge. The second one that I think put most of you people into the holiday mood in the past and features all of the chilling action, crazy weapon mods and endless chests to loot is Borderlands 2. The Borderlands franchise has taken the world by storm and it had one of the best advertising campaigns of all time. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Borderlands franchise it basically is one of those games that has a unique selling point and the artwork is just magnificent. The dialogue is funny and it will challenge your gamer skills every step of the way. I think the game is around the thirty dollar range so if you want to try something different from the call of duty's and GTA's I honestly think that this is the one for you.
