Battlefield 4 was banned in China.

What is up people?

Today I have another story that caught my attention. EA's Battlefield 4 gets banned in China, one of the biggest countries in the world. The amount of potential customers that exist in that country is absolutely unbelievable. "But Why?" you might say.

The reason for this is that the latest downloadable chapter is focused on a rogue Chinese military leader who is part of a military group in the people's republic. The action takes place on the mainland of China while determined American soldiers try to take him and the whole operation down. 

The Chinese government sees the latest DLC as an attack on Chinese culture and have decided to take action against EA's latest Battlefield 4. The strange thing is that Battlefield 4 was never planned for release in China. But don't worry if you live in China, there are plenty of amazing games out there which you can chose from and there are many more to come.

Gone Home being re-made by small time developer.

What is up people?

As many of you know Gone Home was one of the most anticipated games of 2013. If some of you are unfamiliar with the game, the game is about a female protagonist who has gone home to a large secluded house only to find that nobody is there to welcome her. The protagonist begins to worry about what has happened to her family and is determined to find out the truth. At that point you take control of the main protagonist and the story slowly unravels itself as you rummage through your parents belongings and find out the truth one step at a time. 

I highly recommend the game and its strong story is definitely one that you will remember for a very long time.

A small time developer Seth Macy has decided to take the gone home project into his own hands and shrink the whole game without losing any of the original elements of the game. He has decided to do this with the RPG Maker and lately the topic has been gaining a lot of attention. 

It seems like a pretty interesting idea and so far the project seems to be gaining major support.

Resistance and Gran Turismo 5 servers being shut down.

What is up people?

Today I have some minor news for you people. For those of you who thought that Gran Turismo 5 and the Resistance series were the best games to play online I'm afraid I have some bad news. Sony will be pulling the plug on both of these amazing games.

Since the release of Gran Turismo 6 Sony probably felt like the servers used to store all of the content for Gran Turismo 5 and the Resistance series could have been used for their new arrival "Gran Turismo 6" and their new upcoming games. I know that it seems like an unfair thing to do but we've got to respect their decision as the company is moving on to bigger things and fresher content. 

Resistance was one of my favourite games to play back when it was released and I enjoyed the new and thrilling co-op campaign. Fortunately the situation does not affect me as I always try to go with the flow and enjoy games as they are being released.

For those of you out there who are affected by this change I hope that somehow you can get through it and continue your happy gamer lives. The day that the Resistance series will be going offline is Friday the 28th of March 2014 and the date for Gran Turismo 5 is Tuesday the 20th of May 2014. Enjoy them while you still can people.

Merry Christmas !!!

What is up people?

Today is a very special day for every single one of us. I hope that all of you out there got what you wanted and maybe even more. If you didn't, don't worry because presents are only a bonus. Never be blinded by materialistic things. Just like in the "Merchant of Venice" 
                                            "All that glitters is not gold"

     Christmas is truly special as it allows for us to spend time with our family, embrace the warm and loving atmosphere and enjoy the little things such as putting up the tree and burning the Christmas cookies. Maybe that's just me.

But it also is a time for reflection. We reflect on the positive in our lives and sometimes the negative. During these last few days I've been thanking all of you for the amazing support that WordLoops has been receiving lately and when I think back to the time of my first entry My first entry.  I am filled with pride. None of this would have been possible without you, the people and I'm glad that I can entertain people all around the world. I was born to be an entertainer and I won't stop till the day I die. You guys are allowing me to live my dream and WordLoops is constantly expanding. As many of you know in January WordLoops is going to feature video reviews, live streams and walk through's which is another sign of the growth that WordLoops has achieved over the course of eight months. Once again Thank You people, You ROCK !!! and have a very Merry Christmas !!!

Fallout 4 predictions.

What is up people?

Today I want to talk about what the guys over at Bethesda game studios are probably thinking about when the idea of Fallout 4 comes to their head.

Now Fallout 3 was probably one of the most successful games ever made. The open world combat accompanied by awesome weapons and an infinite amount of dialogue probably made it one of the most memorable and worthwhile games out there. Now rumours have been running around the twitter sphere regarding the release of fallout 4 next year. But can they be true?

Never mind the rumours today because that's a whole other story. Today I want to focus on the amazing things that Bethesda game studios are probably going to do with the possible Fallout 4.

My first guess is we're going to see a totally redesigned wasteland. Now I'm not saying that it's going to be situated in space but we will definitely see improvements in areas such as texture and colour. Fallout 3 was one of the best open world games and considering its size everyone knew that it would have some slight texture pop ups and less appreciated areas.

My second guess is the weapons are going to be obviously bad ass. As many of you know the weapon selection in Fallout 3 was pretty sweet and they were a major asset to the player. If you wanted to be successful in Fallout you really needed to push yourself in terms of finding weapons. I can't even imagine what the guys over at Bethesda are going to design in terms of weaponry and armour. The nuke was incredible and always a joy to use.

Now this is the part where I want you people to get involved. Tell me some of your favourite Fallout moments and some kick ass weapons which you have fond memories of.

 What is up people ?

Today I want to talk about something a little bit different than games. I want to tell you people about the way that I live my life. Ever since I was born I was one of those people who had aspirations and ambitions. At the time I didn't know what I wanted to do but I promised myself at the age of five or six that I was not going to settle for the average nine to five job.

I was one of the creative ones, the one that would talk for hours even though no one was there to listen. I commented on everything that was happening around Me, some said that it was strange but that was just Me. I played instruments I even took up skate boarding for a while (Yep that went well) and a lot of other crazy and fun activities to keep my creativity going. But at the end of every one of those activities I came to the same conclusion. It's not what I was looking for.

My Mom was actually the first one to realise that while I was playing games I wasn't just enjoying them but I was actually analysing them. Commentating on every little aspect and comparing them to previous titles. She was the one who got the wheels turning to where I am today. A few years later I had realised that I was destined to definitely work in the game industry, so I decided to take up computer programming.

Now. Computer programming was a big part of my life at the time. I looked up YouTube videos to learn c++ and oddly enough I wasn't the worst at the language but in order to do computer programming your maths level has to be kind of good. My Maths sucked at the time.(I improved since then). After encountering many problems while programming I realised that I'm still going in the wrong direction.  At the time I felt like I ran out of options but luckily enough I had my helpful Dad who finally made me realise what I was destined to be. A writer. 

I wouldn't be where I am today without My Dad. He always supported Me in everything that I have done and still continues to support Me in what I do today. Life throws a lot of s**t at you, but are you going to be the person who gives up after that first hit or are you going to get back up and try again ?

Being surrounded by a large group of people who have no ambitions or no dreams simply destroys Me. Nearly ninety five percent of my family don't understand what I'm doing with my life. But doing what I love is the greatest feeling in the World and with the support of parents and followers I know that I will be the happiest Man alive. I was born to entertain and have a good time while doing it.

Make your dreams come true people and don't settle for an average life because you only live once, but if you do it right once is enough. You're in control of your life and no one else, remember that.

WordLoops is expanding !

What is up people ?

First of all I know that I haven't been posting much this past week. I know that some of you are wondering what's going on but the truth is I've been majorly busy with some stuff that I'm doing for the website.

I've been thinking about this one lately and I think its time for WordLoops to expand. All of you people have been amazing followers and supporters and I really appreciate all of the support that I have been getting. You people are what drives Me on to create awesome content so keep on reading/following and I'll keep the content coming. 

Right now I have some amazing news for you people. WordLoops is going to feature video reviews. Last week I have been getting some cool recording equipment which will make your and other people's experience with WordLoops a lot more enjoyable. This feature will kick off straight after Christmas and will definitely be a cool and awesome way to give you guys honest and high definition reviews. I have some quick stories planned for all of you later on so be sure to check those out.

What to get for Christmas?

What is up people ?

We are in the frosty month of December and if you're still deciding on what to get this year, don't worry I've got you covered. Right now I am going to run you people through a couple of gift ideas that you simply cannot go wrong with.

 The first one obviously being games. Each year the best game developers create some of the worlds most amazing content and the only problem with that is they all decide to release it during the last three months of the year. With the amount of studios that are out there competing against each other it gets a little bit crowded on the store shelves, and it's tough to decided on which is the perfect game to get for Christmas. Follow your heart and take the obvious hints that your friend or loved one has been discretely giving you for the last couple of weeks. There is a game for everyone out there. Happy searching and may the gaming gods be with you. 

The second one is computer accessories. No doubt that technology is on everybody's mind this Christmas and this year I have got my eye on a pretty sweet external hard drive. Now I'm not telling you people to go off and buy your friend or loved one a brand new computer unless you want to, but something small that will allow them to enjoy their machine even more such as keyboards, hard drives, monitors will definitely make them love you even more.
