Did I switch to IOS 7 ?

What is up people ?

So a couple of weeks ago IOS 7 went public. Many people went on a crazy updating spree and quickly updated their devices. Jony Ive's ios 7 is really impressive and a huge improvement since ios was first announced. ios 7 appeals to many people around the world, but I don't think I'm ready yet. 

I have been an Apple user since 2011 and I like everything about ios in general its quick fast and affective. Ios 6 is working perfectly for me and I love the layout that it already provides. People complained about Apple being old and stale. I think its great in every single way and ios 7 still has some improvements to do. Apps are constantly being optimized and updated for the new operating system and who know maybe in a couple of weeks I'll decide to switch over as well. 

People of the world let me know if you switched over to ios 7 and what you think are the advantages or disadvantages of Apple's new OS.

GTA V. My first impressions.

What is up people ?

I have been incredibly busy with some school stuff and today is one of those days that I'm sleeping off the previous week. I'm sure that most of you already picked up that copy of GTA V but for those who didn't have the chance, I'm going to run you through some of the cool things that you will encounter and how the game handles in general.

First of all character switching is smooth quick and responsive, Rockstar have really delivered what they promised with this feature and each time you switch to a different character you will see them doing their own individual thing. This feature is a major asset and is required many times throughout various missions.

The graphics are stunningly beautiful. The attention to detail is absolutely unbelievable and it really makes you appreciate the game that much more. No two houses are the same and each person that you will encounter in the game leads their own life. When you look at the peoples behaviour in the game you will notice that each person has their own personality. One could be a young hipster sending a message on his phone and the next could be an overweight business manager.

Now I will talk about vehicle customisation. LS customs have robbed me of every cent that I have. The customisations are awesome. You can change the appearance of the car from lights to bumpers to spoilers. In the garage you will be able to increase the performance of your chosen vehicle and also cruise through Los Santos with style by adding the best modifications around. (I highly recommend the Sultan RS.)

In the game I went around hitting random people for fun and it turns out that your fighting skill increases with the amount of fights you get into. Its the same idea with driving the more you drive the higher your driver level will be.

How to prepare for a GTA V midnight release ?

What is up people ?

We are one day away from the one and only GTA V. Now I have been to a couple midnight releases in my lifetime and most of them were good except that one time(There was a midnight release in my local video game store and only five people showed up. I know it sucked it was for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. The game stunk and I had nothing to do at the time.)

But I don't think that something like that will ever happen to GTA V. I'm guessing that all of you people have been to a midnight release once in your life but if not I'm going to prepare you for those harsh conditions that the video game store has to offer. You will have to survive lines of obnoxious people, overcome your fear of claustrophobia and stand tall when it comes to collect your prize.

Rule number one get there early. I know its a midnight release and most of you are saying why leave early if most of the  people will only get the game tomorrow ? Trust me I was once a rookie like some of you and showing fifteen minutes before midnight is a major mistake. Everyone usually shows up and hour before the store opens and small lines and groups of hungry savages begin to form outside the store. So its super important to plan your departure.

Rule number two bring a friend. Its super boring when you get to a midnight release two hours before the event and you have no one to talk to. I know you're still going to be super hyped by all that's going on and the adrenaline will instantly rush to your brain if you even hear the word GTA but its fun to tag someone else along and time will go by way faster if you have someone there with you. This is a message for the younger audience. The game is eighteens and you should have a brother, sister or one of your parents when you're picking up the game because there may be a problem if you land on some crappy salesman who has a bad day and decides to stamp on your dreams of open world madness.

Rule number three bring electronic devices. If you're going to show up two hours before the release like me well you're probably going to want to keep yourself occupied. Bring your phones, iphones, tablets and laptops whatever you need to allow time fly. Also I think its quite fun to tweet while you're at the release its something fun and its cool to see your followers doing the same thing its awesome to know that you could be on the other side of the word and all of us are having the same awesome experience. 

Rule number four bring snack and drinks. Lets not forget its a two hour wait so you're going to get thirsty and definitely hungry and the last thing you need is to leave the line, run around looking for convenience stores cause you're dying from thirst. So be smart prepare and if you're lucky the store may be handing out free drinks but I doubt that's going to happen. 

Rule number five have the right amount of change. You don't want to run up to the register with a bunch of cents blocking other people behind you that have the right amount of money with them and I'm sure after all of that waiting you don't want to stay another second in that store, but to go home and play that unbelievable game. Drive safely !!!

Do we really know everything about GTA V ?

What is up people ?

Since that first GTA V trailer that Rockstar were kind enough to release to the world all of the pieces of the puzzle began to come together. We got to know the three protagonists, we know most of the different activities that the player can engage in, and I asked myself does Rockstar have something totally amazing planned for us or have all of the secrets been revealed. 

For the past two years we have been receiving screenshots every month and If you're a passionate and true GTA fan you could interpret what the game was going to feature just by looking at the screenshots. You know what I mean people. If you go back to that first GTA V trailer well than you probably saw the black Futo parked in the driveway which was a common car in GTA IV. In the gameplay video we have received a ton of information about the game and that's super awesome considering that all we have gotten up to that point was a couple of screenshots and one really short trailer. But have Rockstar eliminated the mystery that existed before that gameplay video was released ? Before the video it was anyone's guess. We all pictured the perfect game in our minds, flawless, totally extreme and years of unbelievable content and it seems that Rockstar has made all of this come true but what will happen if we power up that game and nothing is going to surprise us. What I loved about GTA IV is there wasn't much content leaked and when I played that game in 2008 everything was so new,fresh and exciting. Its not really a concern for me as I think GTA V is going to be the best game in the world. But you know what I mean people has too much been revealed ? Yeah right. Rockstar is an amazing developer and they always go out with a BANG !!!

GTA V it's so close !!!

What is up people ?

We are only four days away from the one and only GTA V and what do we know about the game so far ? The game features an incredible story packed with awesome features, characters and even though the online will be delayed by two weeks I can live with that. I am bursting with excitement when I think about all that the game has to offer. The map is going to be bigger than Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV combined.

Every time that Rockstar announces a new GTA game, people compliment the new features that have been added to the game but also moan about all of the incredible features that were unfortunately removed from previous games. But not this time. Rockstar's GTA V is making all of the right noises. They game practically is awesome open world madness. We can do whatever we want, steal a plane then parachute onto mount Chillad, get a quad drive off the mountain and parachute again down to safety or just crash and burn if you want to. Its going to be an amazing experience and I hope all of you are excited just as I am. Tell me what edition you're thinking of getting and are you going to go to that midnight release so that you can be one of the very few people who gets to experience the craziness and pure perfection of GTA V. Do games have sentimental value to you ?

What is up people ?

Every single year depending on the month I'm in I get a bit nostalgic when it comes to games. As a gamer I try to play as often as I can and I then I associate those games with the events that were happening around me. Let me explain. For instance five years ago on the twenty-fifth of December I was one of the happiest people on earth when I unwrapped that perfectly wrapped squared shaped box. It was a PS3 edition of Fallout 3 that changed it all. Every year around November I still take out that awesome game, click on new game and relive the Christmas of 08. Some of you may totally relate to me or find it weird but I'm just saying I love doing that, it brings back so many good memories and also helps me create some new ones. Another example of such an awesome nostalgic moment is when I got my super cool bad ass version of Max Payne 3. It brings me back to an awesome summer of water parks, cinemas and a load of gaming. GTA V what edition to get ?

What is up people ?

I have been thinking about this one for a while. Is it worth getting the collectors edition or special edition of GTA V ? If you're a student who is on a tight budget like me well than every cent is precious. I went for the normal retail edition and I'm pretty sure that everyone who pre-orders the game receives a blimp to mess around with in the game. I always felt like those extra few features didn't make much of a difference when it comes to my enjoyment of the game. 

The special edition will include a copy of Grand Theft Auto V which is always a good start. A collectible steel book with exclusive artwork, a blueprint map, special ability boost, stunt plane trials, bonus outfits and tattoos and also additional weapons which I'm sure are an alternative to some of the weapons which are already in the game. These features to me are not worth an extra $20 and I though to myself I can live without them. 

The collectors edition is the holy grail for many people but I rather get two awesome games than spend around $50 extra on some GTA V goodies. The collectors edition will include a grand theft auto v security box with a logo key, a GTA V new era 9FIFTY snap back cap, custom characters for grand theft auto online and unique vehicles and garage property.

Will GTA V live up to its expectations ?

What is up people ?

Every four or five years Rockstar announces one of its most successful games known as Grand Theft Auto. At that point the rumours start to build up on your twitter and facebook feed and you don't know what to believe anymore. But if you think of it some of the suggestions that are given by people all around the world are pretty cool and then you think what if that was in the game ? You get your hopes up and a month before the games release the truth begins to reveal itself. The truth may either be a major let down or a total success. When I first played GTA San Andreas I was amazed by the amount of diversity that the world had to offer and how you were able to interact with various elements in the game for example visit your local 7/11 and go bowling which was later introduced in GTA IV.

Now I don't think that I'm on my own when I say this GTA IV was an awesome game and lets not forget it was the one that made the leap from PS2 to the PS3 graphics card, so I do give them huge props for that. Although they could have put in more though when it comes to the design of the map. The map did accommodate every mission which was offered in the game but to me every mission began to feel like Deja vu due to the layout of the map. The map offered three islands but it lacked diversity. I missed those off road adventures on my dirt bike along those crappy side roads which went on for hours. It was fun because every time that you left your safe house you embarked on something new and it was always a pleasure to go out exploring.

So yeah I do think that GTA V will live up to its expectations. In the last couple of months Rockstar have released some cool videos in relation to GTA V that have answered nearly all of my questions in relation to vehicle customization and character switching.
